Nuremberg, 30 January 2018
Under the moderation of Joachim Zobel (Schultze & Braun GmbH) and Dr. Alexander Sasse (Concentro Management AG), managing directors of medium-sized companies and specialists from the fields of auditing, insolvency administration, banking, tax consultancy and M&A consultancy discussed the various aspects of corporate restructuring.

On Tuesday afternoon, the speakers dealt with the topics of insolvency and labour law by means of technical examples in the accompanying workshops. The day was rounded off in the evening with a lecture by Prof. Herbert Fischer (TH Deggendorf) on "Digitalization / Industry 4.0", in which the importance of digital business models for the strategy of affected companies was discussed.

The following day, the topics of insolvency administration, restructuring and reorganization were further deepened. The practical case Rudolf Wöhrl AG made the beginning under the programme item "self-management as an opportunity for reorganisation in the finalised retail trade". This was moderated and discussed by lawyer Joachim Zobel and Dr. Christian Gerloff in his function as self-administrators.

This was followed by a panel discussion on the instruments of restructuring, which was discussed by the guests Manfred Metzroth (UniCredit Bank AG), Volker Böhm (Schultze & Braun GmbH Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft) and Prof. Dr. Georg Streit (HEUKING KÜHN LÜER WOJTEK).

This was followed by lectures on tax aspects of the restructuring of Lothar Hiese (MSP Management Support Partners GmbH & Co. KG), Klaus-Christof Ehrlicher (law firm Linse & Ehrlicher Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH) and Detlef Specovius (Schultze & Braun GmbH Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft). The day was rounded off by a panel discussion on the scope and duties of tax advisors in the crisis. Guests of the discussion were Reiner Schaaf (Theopark mbH), Joachim Exner (Dr. Beck & Partner) and André Bäcker (KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfergesellschaft).
